The EP, from a band recently quoted as a touchstone for musicians as diverse as St Vincent, Frank Ocean, James Murphy and Pharrell Williams.

Track: Lucky

Speaking about the track Gang of Four’s Andy Gill says; “It’s about how luck defines more than we imagine. You might think of the words from Macbeth concerning life being an hour upon the stage where the walking shadow struts and frets but can change nothing. A parallel idea is that luck may have as much impact on the course of a life than anything an individual does. As in Sartre’s ‘les jeux sont faits’, action, truth, morality will always play second fiddle to luck.”

Why We Like It:  It’s a slick fuzzed strut of infectious musicianship. A striding sharp guitar shreds through a foot stomping beat and dizzying electronics creating an enthralling panache driven listen. The swagger filled vocals cruise in effortless and cool with a mesmerising charm while the swirling soundscapes dazzle and erupt in the background. The infectious groove and danceable hypnotic backing is filled with mysterious yet mesmerising qualities that will have you strutting your stuff on the dance floor in no time
