Edited People ‘Feel My Skin’

Edited People have released their debut single ‘Feel My Skin’. The band consists of four members Alisha Vickers (Vocals), Josh Ellinor (Guitar), Thomas Whitaker (Bass) and Laura Bentley (Drums) pioneering a new-wave of Alternative music. Their sound is reminiscent of 90’s rock mixed with modern, heavier flavours.

‘Feel My Skin’ is a moody slap of adrenaline fueled alternative rock. The track revolves around gritty guitar lacerations through a punchy slap of drums while elastic bass rumbles set a flexible foundation. Alisha Vickers’ vocals are laced in rich varied tones as she wails, howls and coo’s sweetly between the rough and tumble backdrop. There is no denying the powerful command she has over her vocals and it is this that wrestles your ears into submission. Brimming with attitude this track creeps in filled with dark mystery before pummeling right into its heavy mosh ready core. The verses create a steamy enticing sense of danger as twinkling guitars weave between a steady beat while the chorus wallops out the meaty raw side of this new band. It’s sophisticated and enthralling as Edited People have developed their sound into a no nonsense, full flavoured spectacle. Keep an eye on these guys.
