Young Rising Sons ‘Scatterbrain’

New Jersey’s Young Rising Sons have released their new single ‘Scatterbrain’. The band have seen success performing across the globe with the likes of Halsey, The 1975, & The Neighbourhood. In 2014 Young Rising Sons signed with Goodman & Accettas’ production company, Dirty Canvas Music, and released ‘High’. It garnered the attention of fans and industry executives alike. The band ultimately signed with Interscope Records and released their self-titled EP shortly after. Following their signing, Young Rising Sons played to the world through placements in Toyota, Pepsi & Hulu commercials, trailers – like Universal Picture’s “A Dog’s Purpose,” the Guitar Hero video game, and ESPN broadcasts of NCAA Football.  Young Rising Sons have garnered over 20 million streams on Spotify alone.

‘Scatterbrain’ is an adrenaline surge of whirling indie wrapped in a compact blanket of infectious musicianship. Driving drums springboard the track into its gripping anthemic outfit as it bubbles through the verses before the catchy chorus propels the song into a sing along gem. Gritty guitars crash and stride between the ethereal excitable soundscapes while a luscious melody weaves a sweet honey drizzled thread holding all the chaos and instrumental intensity together. It’s both velvety smooth and breathtaking as Young Rising Sons flesh out their ability to pound hair raising emotion through every pulse and note creating a meaty satisfying rich sound that is sure to ignite a live audience.

About the track the band explain “It’s the byproduct of being an emotional hoarder and carrying baggage that you know you shouldn’t. Scatterbrain is about trying to balance the outside work when you’re living inside your head”.
