Dublin three piece alternative band LateNight Pharmacy, have released their new music video for their track ‘Texlahoma’ which is taken from the bands latest EP, ‘Flamingo’.The track has already proven very popular, with airplay from 98FM’s John Barker on Totally Irish and Indie Disco on Phoenix FM, as well as being selected for playlists by Caltify MX and Luna Collective on Spotify and the video features internet sensation Big Man Tyrone.
‘Texlahoma‘ is a jangly indie number laced in sublime guitar work with a catchy melody as Late Night Pharmacy pepper their punk -esque sound with light speckles of pop. With glorious sun sprinkled verses buoyantly leading the way to the gritty chorus the trio build the track perfectly, creating a wholly invigorating sound. ‘Velvet’ is a dark luring number with smothering muggy entrapment and eerie atmosphere as Something Leather build and layer the track in a searing sultry psychedelic sound with unique and intriguing instrumentation. The haunting organ elements tease and bounce like a chirpy Halloween theme tune throughout the sinister atmosphere. Sultry vocals coo and almost whisper the soft melody as deep backing vocals and moody guitar whines douse the background in ominous tones. The track, which is a cynical song about love and fantasy, builds becoming more frantic and sinister as crashing cymbals and guitar distortion create tension and a mysterious sense of danger. This is one hair-raising number. It’s perfectly crafted for maximum impact as Something Leather tease, ferment and curdle their instrumentation creating a bewitching almost perilous tune with vaporous aspects and groovy shimmy glimpses throughout. It’s a doozy.

Following a two year hiatus, Watford based band Corolla are back with the video release for their latest single ‘Yoga Burgers’.
‘Yoga Burgers’ is a sweet dreamy number filled with delicate instrumentation as Corolla spread gentle guitar jingles over a floaty backdrop and ethereal soundscapes. Lush vocals coo and soothe, caressing the soft creamy melody with tenderness as the track drifts peacefully into the ears with a pacifying and comforting effect. The production is sublime, crisp and immaculate as the reverb hued vocals lavishly exude goodness and sweet tones. ‘Yoga Burgers’ appears simple in its arrangement however is filled with rich subtle intricacies to create a charming and compelling track.

Alt Rock artist Yaffe has released his latest single ‘Orange County’.Yaffe hails from Oklahoma. Finding his sound at just age 14, after playing around with instruments for many years, Yaffe began to emerge in the music scene. Whilst still at school, he already hit over 1000 Apple Music streams on his previous releases.
‘Orange County’ is a hip hop hued alternative track that drifts and floats delicately upon Yaffe’s authentic musicianship. Moody darkened verses brood and bubble beneath a sticky beat smothered in hip hop tones while the laid back vocals coo over the smooth melody. The track builds to a gritty chorus that swirls around sharp guitar and a rich layered rhythm. The chorus bursts into an alternative expression without destroying the coiling sulky tones as Yaffe creates a scorching emotive track that is fully immersive and enjoyable.
Dublin band TV People have released their new single called ‘Healthier Days’. Borrowing equally from punk, garage rock, indie and psych, TV People consists of lead guitarist/vocalist Paul Donohoe, rhythm guitarist/vocalist Len Rochford, bassist Rob Kavanagh, and drummer Brendan Clarke.
‘Healthier Days’ is a mellowed out, laid back track that drifts along TV People’s indie-peppered sound as they weave lethargically between garage and funk hued elements. The nonchalant vocals and droopy melody sets a dreamy wistful scene that sluggishly mopes through the track. The buoyant beat steadily keeps the pace thudding along adding a punk bite here and there while the bass elastically follows maintaining an infectious groove as if attempting to lift the track into a happier mood. This however is achieved by the majestic guitar melodies which add sweet little bursts of scintillation and warmth through the track. It’s a tight song and well crafted for lazy sunny days.
