We chose to further venerate her legacy with a music video that involves breaking into an abandoned warehouse, staging a ballet, shaving the lead actress’ head and smashing a chandelier with a plank of wood. You know, normal stuff.”

Contemporary Folk artist Sunjay has released his latest album ‘Devil Came Calling’. Sunjay hails from the UK where he has been quickly coined a rising star. In 2012 he was nominated for BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Award as well as being crowned Wath Festival Young Performers Award Winner.
‘Devil Came Calling’ is a twanging quirky album that bounces along peppy folk tones with humour glimmering through Sunjay’s lyrics. Following a two year hiatus, Watford based band Corolla are back with the video release for their latest single ‘Yoga Burgers’.
‘Yoga Burgers’ is a sweet dreamy number filled with delicate instrumentation as Corolla spread gentle guitar jingles over a floaty backdrop and ethereal soundscapes. Lush vocals coo and soothe, caressing the soft creamy melody with tenderness as the track drifts peacefully into the ears with a pacifying and comforting effect. ‘You Will Get What You Deserve’ EP saturates and gushes with Master of None’s dark eerie sound and coiling musicianship. Title track ‘You Will Get What You Deserve’ introduces distortion, sharp guitar and a steady beat, kicking off the EP with chilling tones and a slick rock hued backing. The reverb laden vocals is what brings this track to goosebump inducing status. The instrumental backdrop meanders from gritty guitar to an electronic fused spasm as the track develops. ‘Call Me Jack’ follows suit with slick, jagged guitars with a country undertone that is suffocated by the razor sharp rock background while Mitchell’s vocal melody has a Johnny Cash – esque quality to it.
