Liberty Ship have released their new single ‘Snakes And Ladders’. Liberty Ship are a four piece band from Sheffield. Since forming in school they’ve had 4 successful singles, a number of sold out headline shows under their belt, played major UK festivals (YNOT, Isle of Wight, Leeds & Reading, Kendall Calling) and have gigged with the likes of The Libertines, Reverend and The Makers, Tom Grennan, The Pigeon Detectives and more. The track was recorded and produced by Dave Sanderson and Ed Cosens (Reverend and The Makers) and features collaborative artwork from Emily Richmond and tattoo artist of RedFox Studios, Toby Skelton.
‘Snakes And Ladders’ is a moody creeping display from the four piece that wallows in a brooding atmosphere of throbbing slinking bass lines and punchy drums as lamenting guitars whirl and jingle around the dark rhythm. Soulful vocals glide fluidly over the smooth velvety indie pop melody creating a soft texture to this chilling number. Its a catchy track that bubbles upon a subtle classic rock n’ roll vibe while lush harmonies coo and a steamy guitar solo drives the track into a sophisticated state of polished refinement.
