Indie five piece Llovers have burst back onto the scene with their latest infectious offering ‘Go Get Her, Go Getter’. Specialising in shimmering indie anthems with unquestionable pop sensibility, the Teesside outfit’s newest effort reflects their continued rise in 2018, having already been championed throughout the online community and attracted encouraging national airplay (BBC 6 Music). Drawing widespread comparisons to the likes of MGMT, Tame Impala and The 1975, the rising quintet continue to hone their live show with support slots alongside Anteros, Caro, Dream Wife and VANT.
Produced by Sugar House (Pale Waves,Viola Beach), ’Go Get Her, Go Getter’ is a sparkling track doused in hazy dreamy vibes with a vibrant indie backdrop.Zesty guitars weave a golden thread of sun kissed bliss through the luscious synth soundscapes providing glimmers of scintillation throughout the track. A dynamic rhythm maintains a peppy buoyant foundation while velvety vocals coo and soothe over the delightful heavenly melody making for a glorious ethereal listen. It’s catchy, melodic and a refreshing guzzle of sweet fruity indie.
Discussing their forthcoming release, co-frontman Jack Brooks explained: “Go Get Her, Go Getter is about the end of a relationship – more specifically how falling in love with the concept of someone, rather than their true selves, leads to multiple contradictions and a breakdown of communication”.
